Tala (Kamares)


The village Tala is found in the district of Pafos, at a distance of 8 kilometers north of the city of Pafos, within a magical natural environment. In regards to transportation, the village connects to the monastery of “Agios Neofytos” in the northeast (about 2 kilometers), which is within its administrative boundaries. In the south it connects with the village Emba (about 4 kilometers) and from there on with the city of Pafos.
 
Tala is a picturesque village on the outskirts of Paphos, located between Kissonerga and Tsada and famous for its cool breezes and spectacular views of the Mediterranean. 
 
This traditional Cypriot village is surrounded by paved pedestrian areas, and traditional tavernas, and friendly local coffee shops, and close to the 12th Century Monastery of St. Neophytos.
 
Other amenities such as supermarkets, shops and banks are all within walking distance. Just a five minute drive away is the championship golf course at Tsada.
 
The village square has two small family run supermarkets for your essentials, a traditional coffee shop where you can see the old Cypriot men sitting outside watching the world go by. The village of Tala with its traditional old churches, streets, coffee shops and hospitable people embraces Tala Gardens, offering to the resident a sense of community.
